Apple Pay is coming to Android in the coming months, with the app launching on April 7, AppleInsider has learned.
The new app will be available in the Play Store, which means the company can provide more details about its partnership with Google.
The company is also offering a free upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop, which will allow customers to make purchases with Apple Pay.
The app will work with the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6, iPhone SE, and iPhone X, which make up the majority of Apple’s mobile device shipments in the United States.
The partnership with Apple comes on the heels of the introduction of Apple Pay to more than a dozen countries across the world, including Australia, China, Canada, France, Germany, India, Japan, South Korea, and Spain.
The launch of Apple Watch in the U.S. and Europe follows Apple’s announcement last month that the app will arrive on the Apple Watch on April 22.
The watch will be a major milestone for Apple as it seeks to bring the app to more people.
