When it comes to chasing high-performance, money is king.
But it’s not always the case.
And Ramsey is taking a different approach.
He’s not chasing a superstar.
Ramsey is chasing the right player.
You may not have seen the star on the field, but you know what he looks like.
When it comes time to pick the next star in your dynasty, you may have to pay a premium.
Ramsey, who has invested $100 million into his own dynasty over the past year, wants to be the first to invest in a player that has an established track record.
That’s why he’s been pursuing a player named Dak Prescott.
“We wanted to be on the top of our list, but we didn’t want to get stuck in this trap,” Ramsey said.
The Cowboys’ QB has been the star of the franchise since it was bought by the NFL in 2009.
With his high-octane offense and big-play ability, Prescott has become a franchise-defining player for the Cowboys.
It’s not the first time Ramsey has been involved in a dynasty, but he says this is the first that has included a player of Prescott’s caliber.
“I’m looking forward to seeing what he does and seeing if we can get the right deal,” Ramsey told Fox Sports.
That’s not to say he won’t try to take advantage of Prescott.
Ramseys first investment came in 2015, when he invested $50 million into Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, the franchise’s first star to hit the market.
His team then traded for Dez Bryant and Bryant was released in the offseason.
The Cowboys then signed former Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian in the 2018 offseason, and Prescott became the franchise QB.
Ramies next investment in 2017 was $50,000 into Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and he believes he’s now invested more than $100,000.
Ramys investment has been a success.
Ramones latest purchase was a third round pick from the New Orleans Saints in 2018.
Rames second investment came a couple of months ago, when the Cowboys signed Cowboys wide receiver Josh Doctson.
The 24-year-old is averaging 5.1 yards per reception and has three touchdowns.
For a player his age, Doctson has some real upside.
In a league that wants to keep its talent fresh, it’s hard to keep Doctson on the roster long term.
So the Cowboys hope Doctson will be a player who can provide the team a steady source of pass rush.
Dolson, who will turn 22 in March, has been impressive in camp and the preseason, and has shown his speed and strength, as well as the ability to catch the ball.
Ramds third investment comes from the Miami Dolphins.
The Dolphins traded away their top receiver for a third-round pick in 2017 and brought in the veteran cornerback in free agency.
That helped lead to a lot of buzz about the Dolphins receiving corps.
Ramos invested $40 million into the Dolphins and is happy to see the team is making a strong push.
I think the team has a good chance of winning right now,” Ramsey, who also owns the Minnesota Vikings, told FoxSports.
Ramssons latest investment comes on the heels of his third investment in the first half of 2018.
He is still looking to get a first-round player.
Ramson is currently worth more than the value of the Dolphins third rounder.
If you’re a fan of the Cowboys, Ramsey is worth a look.
The Dallas Cowboys have invested more in the franchise than any team in NFL history.
They’ve added a lot in the last year.
